Description

Course is now completed. If you are interested in learning about future dates this workshop may be available, please contact us at admin@localhost.

Workshops to be held: Ottawa (September 21st – 23rd, 2018).

The purpose of the workshop is to provide clinicians with an understanding of the theoretical basis and the practical application of Narrative Exposure Therapy (NET). NET has been shown effective in clinical trials and systematic reviews for complex PTSD and trauma related symptoms. The Workshop, conducted by two psychologists who have had thousands of hours of experience in NET and training in NET, will prepare clinicians to use NET in their clinical practice. By means of lectures and small group experience and practice, participants will gain confidence in the strategies used by NET to provide effective and safe interventions. NET has been widely used in challenging circumstances with a very wide variety of sufferers. Over the 3-day workshop, the two leaders will draw on their extensive experience to provide an effective and efficient tool for overcoming the challenges of PTSD and related symptoms.
